We worship all together- young and old- as one covenant family
Children memorize Scripture and engage in age appropriate Bible and theological teaching
Children are provided a sermon worksheet to help them understand the Scripture passage and sermon
Covenant children are invited to one-on-one Bible study with the pastor to learn about communicant membership vows
Through memorization and song, the youth learn the truths of the Bible through catechism teaching.
Youth are encouraged to participate in our presbytery and OPC short-term summer mission trips
All are invited to request their favorite hymns to sing together as we prepare our hearts to worship
Fridays nights are for the youth to get together, study God's Word, and grow in friendship
A labor of love by the entire church, VBS is a special summer ministry to saturate the heart and mind of the youth with the gospel
Our presbytery organizes annual youth retreats for a time of learning and growing with the larger body of Christ
Some of our books have included Big Truths for Young Hearts, The Biggest Story, and The Garden the Curtain and the Cross
Every Sunday after worship, everyone young and old and in between enjoys hospitality and fellowship over a meal
Every first Saturday evening, volunteers share their time, interests, and faith to serve the youth
Every last Saturday of the month, the youth write letters of encouragement to express their love and empathy
Every last Sunday of the month, adults and children gather together to share prayer requests and praises and to pray together in small groups
Sixth graders and higher are invited to go camping in the beauty of God's creation and to dialogue with one another about growing in faith
Every year, the children learn about Reformation history through stories, games, crafts, and food!
The older youth are encouraged to serve and spiritually mentor the younger youth
Periodically throughout the year, the youth are invited to day-trips to the park, beach, and amusement parks to exercise their love in new and exciting settings
In years past, we've done entire church retreats and youth summer retreats, all memorable times of deepening our unity in Christ
Every last Saturday of the month, all ages get together to sing, study, and eat in joyful fellowship
Every last Saturday of the month, the youth energetically sing the catechism songs and study in a multi-age group setting
Spring, summer, fall, and winter- every season the church creates new opportunities for the youth engage in community & fellowship
The church comes together to work side by side to serve the youth and the larger community
